Thanks to @ashanthisorismirchandani and the fantastic efforts of @breakthroughstudio.lk clients, our kids at the Warehouse Project now have a tremendous collection of books for their library!
These generous Breakthrough clients collected books from their networks to donate to our kids, allowing them to expand their horizons and read more. We couldn't be more grateful for their kindness and support.
But that's not all! As part of the Breakthrough Studio CSR Project, they pay the monthly tuition fees for our dedicated teachers' salaries. Their ongoing commitment to our cause ensures our teachers can continue shaping young minds and providing the education our kids deserve.
We extend a heartfelt thank you to Ashanthi Soris Mirchandani and the entire Breakthrough family for their unwavering support. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of these wonderful children, empowering them through education and knowledge.

Warehouse Community Projects
Pushpa Kumara, who used to live in a small wooden house at the top of Tipoli Road, has been with us since the inception of the Warehouse Project. Always faithful and with a big smile.. he would be the first one at the warehouse helping set up or tidy after our programs.
The warehouse project helped Pushpa Kumara get a job at the prestigious Royal Colombo Golf Club. He is now a trained chef who runs his own catering business in addition to running a traditional Sri Lankan clay stall to support his family during difficult times. Pushpa Kumara is an incredible inspiration!
Despite facing challenges with gas and fuel shortages, Pushpa Kumara's determination and entrepreneurial spirit have paid off. His traditional Sri Lankan clay pots are now available at his permanent shop in Keells Mattakulliya, and he has a pop-up shop at the Mahargama Youth Center for the Sinhala and Tamil new year seasons. During this Avurudu season, make sure to stop by his shops for your Traditional Clay pot needs.
We are incredibly proud of Pushpa for realizing his dreams and building successful businesses. Let's support his ventures and stay tuned for more updates on his catering business!

Exciting news! Our talented warehouse dancers had the incredible opportunity to dance for and meet His Excellency, The President of Sri Lanka, Hon. Ranil Wickramasinghe. They shared the stage alongside five times undefeated world-renowned dancers and UK Latin American dance champions @_marika.doshoris_ and @gunnargunnarsson8.
This wonderful opportunity was opened to the girls by @naomirajaratnam who took them under her wing and facilitated their dance journey over the past 3 months. Thank you for igniting a fire in them and providing them an international stage to perform on. And girls, thank you for inspiring us all and demonstrating that anything is possible with hard work and determination! We are so proud of our dancers and can't wait to see where their talent and passion will take them next!
Every Wednesday is English class with the volunteer teachers from @withoutborderslk who have been partnering with warehouse project since almost our conception! Big shout out to the dedication of volunteer teachers

Our annual Christmas and end of year celebration had to be changed up because of the pandemic. Parts of the city are still under lock down and some of the family and communities we reach are unable to leave their homes/ go to work etc. We were able to present the kids with shoes, masks and bedding. Whilst we have in the past years gone out to celebrate with a meal and fun activities we had to limit the day to the temple with a purposeful smaller scheduled gift giving ceremony with harmduru Ven Narada Ven Sri Narada Foundation and Co founder of the warehouse Project Rev. Kirby de Lanerolle presenting the kids with brand new shoes, masks and bedding.
We want to thank to all our supporters who made this possible.
Wishing you all a very merry Christmas, whilst we embrace change and everything that 2021 will bring with joy, love, peace and hope.
